We do not start with a ready-made pattern. We start with you.
Most floors are expected simply to fit in. We want them to mean something too. That is why we created a personalised mat system in which individual modules connect into a larger story: an illustration for a child, a map of an imagined city, a brand mark, a movement zone or a complete spatial identity.
Modularity creates freedom a conventional mat cannot offer. A surface can be assembled, moved, expanded or refreshed by replacing selected modules. Full-colour artwork can flow across many tiles while every piece remains part of a practical system.

Quality and safety
A good mat should be beautiful. It must always be safe.
We treat the foam, printed surface and bonding method as one material system. We assess skin contact, everyday use, abrasion, cleaning, layer adhesion and colour durability. We do not base safety on a supplier’s general assurance — documentation must relate to the specific material and its specific use.
Before a variant is released for sale, we carry out a conformity assessment appropriate to its intended use. For lines intended for children’s play, the scope includes toy-safety requirements and CE marking after conformity assessment, together with relevant EN 71 testing and REACH chemical restrictions.
The exact scope of testing, declarations and labelling depends on the product’s classification and intended use. Detailed information is provided for each specific variant.
A responsible approach
We do not use the word ‘eco’ as decoration.
EVA is a synthetic material — durable, lightweight and resilient, but not biodegradable. Our responsibility therefore is not built on empty promises. We design products for repeated, long-term use and use modularity so that one section can be replaced instead of the entire surface.
On-demand production limits surplus finished stock. We optimise cutting layouts, separate production offcuts and seek partners able to reuse clean foam where technology allows. Local customisation shortens the distance between design and customer. We want every environmental statement to be supported by evidence, not a green label.

MatStory is a young, independent brand built with 100% Polish capital. We develop the product concept, design, artwork preparation, crucial customisation and quality control in Poland. The main part of the production process — especially the part that makes every set different — takes place locally with specialised partners.
We want to show that a personalised product can be emotional, functional and industrially consistent at the same time. Without huge minimum orders, months of waiting or a compromise between good design and practical use.
